Dear Colonial Vet family,
We hope this letter finds you safe and well. With the rapid changes that are happening, we want to reassure you that we are still open for business to help care for your pets.
We clean and disinfect our facility after each appointment. We are taking additional measures to disinfect surfaces you may come in contact with before your appointment, for everyone’s safety. We do ask that if you are sick to please stay at home and reschedule your appointment. If your pet is sick and needs to be seen, please arrange for someone who is not sick to bring in your pet.
We are committed to getting you into an exam room with little to no wait time in order to minimize contact time with other patients and families. If you do not want to come into the clinic or are unable to and still need medical attention and care for your pet, please call us at (734) 459-1600. We offer house calls every Monday and on a limited basis Tuesdays through Fridays. If you need a Saturday house call appointment, please let us know and we’ll try to get a doctor out to you.
We are now offering a drive in service for those of you who wish to minimize personal contact. Please call us when you pull into our lot to let us know you would like the drive in service and we will come get your pet or bring out any medications or food that you need to pick up. Payments can be taken over the phone to minimize contact. For pets needing exams, you can wait in your car while we examine your pet and administer any vaccines or medications needed. If it will be a longer visit with diagnostics you are welcome to drop off your pet and pick them up when everything is complete. You will be called to discuss the exam and any concerns or questions you may have. Once your pet’s exam is done, we will call you so you can pay over the phone and bring your pet back to your car.

We are praying for everyone’s safety and health. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at (734) 459-1600 if you have any other questions or concerns.
